Kristin Fisher joined CNN on July 20, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. In that role, she covers everything from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial space companies and the advent in space travel. Kristin is the mother of two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up working in space, as well as covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. As she covered the two impeachment proceedings against the president and the presidential campaign for 2020, as well as both administrations' efforts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other things. Additionally, she went on trips with President Trump and the Vice President often. It included a secret trip to Afghanistan. Kristin was a local television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won the Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter, before being hired by CBS in 2015. Kristin's camera skills has led her to create Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for corporate customers including Uber Hotels and Resorts as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism that she obtained at Boston University. She and her husband reside at Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
